Samedi matin, Marie va au marché avec sa mère. Elles ont une petite liste : des tomates, des bananes, du pain et une rose. Au stand de légumes, le marchand pèse les tomates. Tout à coup, la liste tombe sous un panier. Marie la voit et rit. Sa mère dit merci. Elles achètent aussi des pommes rouges et du fromage. Avant de rentrer, Marie choisit une rose jaune pour sa grand-mère. Le marché est bruyant, mais Marie est contente.
