Practice without the pressure

Practice French is built to be calm: no streaks to protect, no lives to lose, and no guilt for skipping a day. Pick what you want to work on — vocabulary, grammar, reading, or verb conjugation — and see your real progress instead of a manufactured one.

Everything on this site is free to read: full French passages and grammar explanations with worked examples. The free conjugator covers every French verb, and the app adds vocabulary flashcards with spaced repetition, saved progress, and audio practice, with no ads on any platform.

Common questions

Is Practice French free?

A generous daily practice cap applies everywhere, including the web — it shares the same daily free limit as the app on iOS and Android, not a separate unlimited version. Reading lessons have their own separate daily cap. Premium is purchased in the mobile app and lifts both limits for your whole account, web included, with no ads on any platform.

What levels does it cover?

Content runs the full CEFR scale, from A1 (beginner) to C1 (advanced): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1.

Do I need an account?

No. Every story and grammar lesson on this site is open right away, and the conjugator is free with no daily cap. In the app you can start practising anonymously too — signing in with Apple or Google is optional, only to sync progress across devices.

Is there an app?

Yes — on iOS, Android, and the web, all with the same content.
